This site is brought to you by the Alliance for South Asian AIDS Prevention (ASAAP) as part of its Desis against HIV/AIDS project funded by the City of Toronto Public Health AIDS Prevention Community Investment Program Grant.
ASAAP is a community-based, non-profit, charitable organization committed to providing health promotion, support, education, and advocacy in a non-discriminatory manner for those who identify as South Asian living with and affected by HIV/AIDS.
All ASAAP services are free and confidential.
ASAAP has a PHA Support Program to offer support to people living with HIV/AIDS.
ASAAP also offers workshops on a variety of topics including HIV/AIDS 101, Healthy Sexuality, Anti-Homophobia, Cultural Competency and many more.
ASAAP conducts outreach at diverse events in and around the City of Toronto. We also have free materials on HIV prevention in Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Punjabi, Bengali and Gujarati.
ASAAP holds support groups for South Asian Gay, Bisexual and other Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) called Dosti as well as Snehithan which is a group for Tamil Gay, Bisexual, MSM, and Trans people.  ASAAP also provides support to Mirchi, a group for South Asian lesbian, bisexual, queer women and trans people.
ASAAP is also here to offer support on safer sex and related issues so call us!
